RUKO F11 Mini

Ruko F11 MINI Drone Review

The RUKO F11 mini drone is a good option for anyone who is looking to get into the drone hobby. It comes with nice features and best of all; it will give you a good footing in drone photography because it takes crisp clear footage.

This drone has a powerful flight performance thanks to the brushless motors. It is also light in weight and since it is foldable, it packs so easily for traveling. Considering the affordable price that you will pay for this quadcopter, it is good.

There are some downsides to the RUKO F11 mini drone. For instance, there have been complaints that it cannot fly beyond 200 meters, but the user manual says it can do a distance of 500 meters. Most users say it cannot go beyond 260 meters without losing connectivity with the remote controller.

Also, please note that you must use an SD card to store your footage since this drone does not transfer the media to your smartphone.

Cheerwing U88S

Cheerwing U88S Drone Review

If you have never flown a drone before and you would like a starter into the hobby, you might consider the Cheerwing U88S quadcopter. It has some cool features such as the 4K camera, two batteries and others. You can learn how to fly and at the same time, learn how to take good aerial footage.

The reason for recommending this quadcopter for a beginner is that it has no learning curve at all. Okay, the user manual is a little hard to decipher, but once you get the hang of it, you can do the set up fast. Since the quadcopter comes pre-assembled, you just need to charge the battery (it comes with two) and start flying it.

This quad looks like it is good value for money. However, it still has some downsides that you should be aware of before you order it.

One of them is that it is not foldable by design. Thus, it is bulky, something that the under-nose attachment of the camera seems to exacerbate. Measuring 8.26 by 8.26 by 5.44 inches, it will consume a considerable amount of space in your backpack when traveling.

Read on to see the other features that this aircraft comes with to see whether it will be a good fit for your needs.

SMRC icat8

SMRC icat8 Review

SMRC usually offer their drone models with a good number of options. For instance, with the SMRC icat8, you can choose to buy it with one, two or three batteries, of course at different prices. You can also choose to buy it in black, silver or orange color.

This is the complete package since it also comes with a carry bag. If you order the package with two or three batteries, you will never need to buy anything else.

If you are an aerial shooting enthusiast, this drone might help you since SMRC says it comes with an 8K ESC HD camera. However, there is no way to verify this resolution. In the past, we did a review of the Autel EVO 2, which also comes with an 8K camera. It has a video resolution of 7680 x 4320P and a photo resolution of 8000 x 6000.

There are so many other good things going for this drone and it does cost a substantial amount of money. One downside though is that it does not come with a built-in rechargeable battery for the remote controller.

For the money you will pay and with the advanced features that the icat8 comes with, using 4 AAA batteries for the remote controller feels like a letdown.

Keep reading to see the other features that this quadcopter comes with, as well as its design and build quality.
