The flight performance itself is not bad at all, even with the brushed motors. However, do not fly it in the wind.

While Holy Stone makes good quadcopters, they cannot be completely free of downsides. For instance, you have to screw on the landing gear before flying it and again, unscrew them before you can store it. This makes one wonder why they did not make the landing gear a snap-on kind of design.

If you are looking for an affordable drone with many features and flight functions, you might want to try the ZLL SG108 PRO YAN drone. It comes in a striking orange or black color and the camera takes decent photo and video footage.

Looking at the details, you will be impressed. First, it has an SD card slot so you need not store video and photo footage in your smartphone or tablet. Secondly, it comes in a nice, folding design. Being a GPS-enabled drone, it will find its way home if the signal fails.

As usual, there are some downsides, which are not deal breakers. For instance, the SG108 PRO is so lightweight. Therefore, in the wind, it can be hard to trim. It is advisable to fly it when there is no wind.

The mini drones seem to be getting better if the FIMI X8 Mini drone that was launched on 6^th April 2021 is anything to go by. Imagine a mini drone with a flight range of 8KM, incredible flight performance, a real 4K camera (with night shooting mode) and many more. And no, it is not a DJI Mini.

Pilots can be able to share live videos on their social media, of course, on the drone app. In addition, this mini comes with noise reduction technology and the flight range is quite long at 8KM thanks to the remote controller that supports 5GHz frequency.

Other things that it comes with include the 3X zoom camera, automatic flight functions, long flight range and night shooting mode.

Any downsides? One of them is the price because this mini retails at more than $400. Therefore, to know whether it is worth the money, you should see the features, which we are going to discuss in the upcoming section.
