Potensic Atom SE

Potensic Atom SE Drone (FlyMore Combo) Review

Over the last few years, mini drones have become more popular. Most of them, including the Potensic Atom SE mini drone that we will review here, weigh less than 250 grams. This means you don’t have to register it with the FAA before you can fly it.

The Potensic Atom SE drone is not exactly the DJI Mini SE quadcopter, which we reviewed earlier. But it does give advanced and beginner pilots a thrilling flight experience.

The camera, with a Sony sensor is decent, the flight time is excellent and for the price … Many drone enthusiasts agree that this is the real deal, coming real close to the DJI Mini SE.

While this seems like a superb adult beginner drone, it still has some issues, reported several times over, so it is not an isolated case.

The controls are too sensitive such that it is very easy to overshoot your target. If you touch a joystick accidently, the drone can dive, fly away fast.

You will also need a fast SD card to store your footage in high resolution. If you have a slow SD card, the video recording will fail.

Holy Stone HS360

Holy Stone HS360 Review

In this Holy Stone HS360 drone review, you will see the features and flight function of this drone, before you can buy it.

Since 2014, Holy Stone has been making cheap consumer drones that have been revolutionizing the way we take aerial footage.

Today, we can say that HS plays in almost the same league as DJI and Potensic. Buying a drone from a good brand name gives you confidence that you are getting a good item, because they have a reputation to protect.

Are there any downsides that you should be aware of before buying? Not really. There have been complaints that it is a bit challenging to connect an iPhone with the drone because the smartphone holder does not seem to hold iPhones very well. However, this seems to be an isolated case.

FEGRAD EC20

FEGRAD EC20 Review

The FEGRAD EC20 is a small, stable and powerful quadcopter that is made for adults who want to learn how to fly. It is perfect for a person who wants a drone that has good specs and many flight functions but at the same time, it is not too costly.

The package comes with two batteries, the drone itself, one remote controller, a storage case, charging cable, and a spare set of propellers. It also comes ready to fly so when you get it, you just need to calibrate it and fly it.

This is a good drone for the price. But it also has its downsides. You are more likely to capture 1080P videos than 4K ones.

Also, this drone does not come with an SD card slot. Thus, it means you have to store all of your footage in your smartphone and transfer it later. At the price it is sold at, an SD card slot would have been very appropriate.

Keep reading as we explore the features of this quadcopter in more detail.

Holy Stone HS710

Holy Stone HS710 Drone Review

The Holy Stone HS710 is a good beginner quadcopter for adults. It comes with a 4K camera, so you can take good footage from the air.

This drone is a good option for travelers and aerial photography enthusiasts who have always wanted a DJI drone but find them too expensive.

It checks most of the boxes because it comes with a foldable design, has an impressive battery life and with 5G connectivity, you can enjoy FPV over a long flight distance.

With the option to fly using headless or standard mode, even if you are an advanced pilot, you will not find this drone too boring.

There aren’t many downsides to worry about with the HS710. At the same time, it would be so much better if it came with electronic image stabilization (EIS) to remove all distortion from your footage.

However, that is a small downside, so it is not really a deal breaker. The rest of the features are good enough.

SJRC F7 4K PRO

SJRC F7 4K PRO Drone Review

The high landing gear and the suspended camera make the SJRC F7 PRO 4K drone look unique. Also,a carry bag is part of the package, so your storage and travel needs are well taken care of.

You can order the package with one, two or three batteries. Of course, there will be price differences, but for more fun and longer flight time, the two or three-battery option is always better.

You will also enjoy an immersive flight experience with the F7 4K PRO thanks to functions such as follow me, gesture shooting and the one key return. Equipped with GPS, this aircraft is hard to lose.

The one downside that you might want to be aware of is that the quadcopter does not have propeller guards. Thus, if there is a crash, you are likely to lose the propeller blades. Since it is marketed as a beginner and intermediate drone, it should come with propeller guards.

We shall look at these flight functions in deeper detail later.
