The Hubsan Zino Mini SE drone comes with many impressive features. If you are in a hurry to read, here is a sneak peek into some of them:

Hubsan is the home of different types of drones. For instance, they have affordable drones for beginners and they have advanced drones that you can use for aerial shooting.

For years, this Chinese drone manufacturer has been making drones for all budgets, needs and uses. Sometime back, we wrote a review of the Hubsan Zino 2 drone, which comes with a long transmission and flight distance. It also comes with a 4K camera, which makes it useful for semi-professional video work.

Back to our drone of the moment, could the Hubsan Zino Mini SE be the answer to the Mavic Mini or the DJI Mini 2?

DJI Mini 3 Pro Review

DJI Mini 3 Pro

If you are looking for an excellent flying camera, this DJI Mini 3 Pro review is for you. This is the newest addition in the DJI mini drones stable.

Compared to the Mini 2 before it, the Mini 3 Pro is a great improvement. Where its predecessors lacked vital features such as obstacle avoidance, this one comes with it, making it one of the safest small drones to fly.

Even with all the features, this drone still weighs less than 250g so you will not need to register it with your civil aviation authority before you fly it.

This drone comes with so many good things. They include long distance flight, longer flight time from battery, incredible flight performance, and many automated flight modes.

The only downside you will find with this mini quadcopter is that it is the most expensive in the stable. Costing several hundreds of dollars, you will feel the dent on your wallet, but the experience will be totally worth it.

In the package, there is no USB cable for charging the battery. You will have to use your smartphone charging cable.

If you are looking for a drone that is weatherproof in the true meaning of that word – snow, rain and waterproof, do not look any further than the SwellPro SplashDrone 4.

As you can guess, the “4” in this case stands for the fourth drone in a series. So yes, there is a SplashDrone 3. You can read our review for it.

If you already have the SplashDrone 3, you might be wondering what extras the 4 comes with. There are substantial differences. For instance, the flight range is three times longer, the payload is heavier and the flight time is almost ten minutes longer.

The SplashDrone 4 also has better specs than the SwellPro Fisherman. Of course, it also costs more money than its predecessors do, but no cost is too high if there are enough features to back it up.

DJI Mini SE Review

Having come to the US market in August 2021, the DJI Mini SE is the newest addition to the collection of small hobby drones in the DJI stable.

It is also the cheapest! However, if the hubbub in the market is anything to go by, there is some controversy surrounding the Mini SE.

Some pundits say that you are better off going for the older DJI Mini 2, which was released in November 2020. They argue that the Mini SE is built on the older 2019 technology that the Mavic Mini ran on. The only thing that seems to be an improvement on the Mavic Mini is the slightly higher wind resistance.

Here, we believe that we should judge every quadcopter on its own merits. Read the whole review to see the features and the flight modes. You can then decide whether it is the real deal for you.

Even before we get to the features, we like to highlight some downsides. Honestly, there aren’t that many, except perhaps that the package does not come with propeller guards, so a crash could send you to the stores to buy new blades.

There have been cases of users complaining about the Mini SE not responding to controller commands. The good thing is that if the signal is lost, it automatically initiates the return-to-home routine.

DJI Air 2S Review

The DJI Mavic Air 2S is a small quadcopter that comes with higher specs and features than its predecessor the Mavic Air 2.

The camera is better, and so is the handling. You can refer to our earlier review of the DJI Mavic Air 2. One of the most notable differences is in the camera.

For instance, where the Air can take 4K videos at 30FPS, the Air 2S can take 5.4K videos at 30 FPS. It also comes with a bigger 1-inch CMOS sensor for better still photos. The camera takes stills at 20MP whereas the Air has a 12MP lens.

This is a proper upgrade and as usual, upgrades mean more money. Therefore, the high price of the Air 2S might be a downside to some people. Of course, at such a price, you really don’t want to buy this one as your starter drone.

Also, at this time, this drone is not compatible with any DJI VR goggles. Other limitations include lack of automatic transfer of footage from drone storage to your phone storage.
