XKJ K911 MAX

XKJ K911 MAX Review

Over time, many drones have been made available in different packages to meet different budgets. For instance, the XKJ K911 Max comes with/without obstacle avoidance, with one, two or three batteries.

The extra features cost more, but they can be worth it. Obstacle avoidance is for safety because it prevents your aircraft from crashing into things. More batteries mean a longer flight time.

In the product description, the manufacturer says the K911 Max has an 8K camera, but most people who have used it do not agree. It is more like 4K, or lower! Thus, if you are buying it on account of the camera alone, you might want to think twice.

The user manual seems to be mostly available in Chinese. Also, you need to be aware of flying it in the wind because it is so light and it will be hard to trim. GPS positioning takes too long to start working.

You can see there are a number of downsides to the aircraft. It is still a good entry level drone that will teach you the basics of flying and taking aerial footage.

Keep reading to see its features and other details.

DRONEEYE 4DV13

DRONEEYE 4DV13 Review

The DRONEEYE 4DV13 is a small, entry-level drone that is good for adults and children who want to get into the drone hobby. It is affordable and it has many flight functions, which make it easy to use for beginners.

This company makes good, small drones. In the past, we looked at the DRONEEYE 4DV14, which comes with some impressive hands-free functions. As you will note, the main outstanding difference between the 4DV14 and the 4DV13 is in the camera. The former has a 1080P camera, which gives slightly better quality than the 720P camera that the 4DV13 comes with.

Back to our DRONEEYE 4DV13 review, this drone has a downside that you should be aware of before you buy it.

While the camera angle is adjustable, you can only adjust it manually. This means bringing the quadcopter home to adjust the camera and then launching it again. Anyway, this is not a dealbreaker because many low-priced mini drones lack the remote vertical angle adjustment feature.

KFPLAN KF616 Mini

KFPLAN KF616 Mini Review

In its description, the manufacturer says that the KFPLAN KF616 comes with a 6K HD camera.

However, that might not be entirely true because the photo resolution is 4096 by 2160 and the video resolution is 2048 by 1080P.

Once you get to see the other features that this drone comes with, you will overlook that small downside easily. For instance, it comes with an 8K infrared obstacle avoidance system. It can detect obstacles from above, below, left or right. This makes the KF616 one of the safest mini drones to buy and fly.

Whether you are an advanced or a beginner pilot, this quadcopter gives great value for money. You can get it as your first drone and you will never outgrow it because it has some very good features.

This mini quadcopter is available for shipping with one, two or three batteries. Even with three batteries, it is still not expensive at all. It costs about $60. It is best to buy it with three batteries for extra flight and fun time.

JJRC X21

JJRC X21 Review

JJRC is a respected dronemaker that has been making all types of hobby drones for many years.

They have basic quadcopters for beginners and they have some with advanced features. The JJRC X21 is one of the latter since it comes with omni-directional obstacle avoidance.

In their lineup, you are going to find quadcopters such as the JJRC X19, JJRC A353GW, and JJRC X16 which we reviewed earlier.

The X21 is small, sleek and well built. It is packed with dual cameras, brushless motors, 5-inch foldable props and many other features.

Another of the most notable features is the camera. This drone comes with a high quality 4K camera. If you are looking to get your foot into aerial shooting, you can start on this beautiful drone.

Every drone has its flipside. This one is not any different because the remote control uses 2 AA batteries. This looks like an advanced hobby drone with obstacle avoidance, long flight time and many more. We feel that a remote controller with an integrated rechargeable battery would have been much better.

Another thing is the low takeoff weight of this drone. It is about 165g, which is too light and might be hard to trim in the wind. However, as you read along, you will find out how good the flight performance is because of the brushless motors.

4DRC F11 PRO

4DRC F11 PRO Review

The 4DRC F11 drone has many things going for it. First, it has a long flight range, so if you do the full distance, it will certainly get out of sight. However, don’t worry about that because it has safety functions. With GPS positioning, you will always know where it is. It also has automatic return to home on battery down or signal loss.

Enabled with dual positioning capability, it hovers very well indoors and outdoors. This drone is equipped with optical flow positioning and GPS positioning. If you are buying the quadcopter for aerial photography, you will appreciate having these two functions because they enable stable hovering.

You can opt to get the F11 with one, two or three batteries at different prices. Many people want at least two batteries to increase their flight and fun time. If you want extended fun, get the three-battery package.

There is no doubt about the flying prowess of the aircraft. However, like many people, you might be disappointed in the fact that the drone does not have a three-axis gimbal, which might affect the quality of your footage.

Another thing that you might want to be aware of is that the user manual seems to be poorly translated to English.
