LYZRC L900 Pro

LYZRC L900 Pro Review

The LYZRC L900 is a small, foldable and affordable quadcopter that comes with advanced features such as 5G image transmission. Therefore, you can access live video feeds on your smartphone, using the app, from a long distance.

That is not all, because this drone also comes with wind resistance level 7, which means it can do well in a shore breeze.

This drone also supports many flight functions that make it so easy to fly for beginners. Some functions such as surround mode are for fun and hands-free flights while others such as aircraft retrieval and one key return functions are for safety. We shall look at them in detail later.

But there are two “downsides” if we can call them that. First, this drone does not come with batteries and secondly, it does not come with a remote controller.

You will have to get those separately, which is more trouble than is necessary.

Also, some users have complained that while it is advertised as a 4K camera drone, the resolution of the photos does not really come down as 4K. Rather, it looks more like 1080P.

Holy Stone HS260

Holy Stone HS260 Review

If you have zero drone flying experience, you should get a drone that does more of the work and lets you have the fun at the same time. The Holy Stone HS260 is one such drone. You will find it so easy to figure out the controls. Besides, it comes with a comprehensive user manual that will take you through the steps for calibrating and flying the HS260.

From the Holy Stone drones that we have reviewed in the past such as the HS710 quadcopter, you can tell that they make high quality beginner and advanced user aircrafts.

All the same, they do have their limitations. Even the HS260 has its own limitations. It is better to know them as they will help you make up your mind whether to buy it or leave it.

One downside that is really irking is that the remote controller does not fit most of the modern smartphones, which are larger than the past ones.

As much as we say that the app unlocks many flight functions, there are some things that only work when you are using the remote controller. For instance, the emergency stop function only works from the remote controller. Also, you can only adjust the camera vertical angle on the remote controller.

The few downsides apart, this drone has some incredible features and flight functions too. Actually, the pros are more than the cons, so it makes sense to buy it.

Sansisco D15

Sansisco D15 Drone Review

The Sansisco D15 Mini Drone is not only good for kids, but it is also good for beginner adults who want to learn how to fly on a basic drone and then upgrade to a bigger one in future.

This is an affordable drone too. But even their A21 Infrared battle drone does not cost too much, actually being cheaper than this mini.

No money is little when buying a drone. You want to be sure that you are getting enough features for the money. So, before you buy, check out the features.

While this seems like a great mini drone, there have been some concerns. For instance, the controls are too sensitive such that even an accidental featherlight touch can send it crashing into obstacles. You need to be extra careful when you are flying it.

Also, there have been complaints that the drone might quit on you after a few flights.

HS440 Drone

Holy Stone HS440 Drone Review

Holy Stone manufacturing drones since 2014. To know whether you will get value for money, it is best to consider every HS drone on its own merits. In this Holy Stone HS440 drone review, you shall see its features, and its flight functions.

Looking at the physical structure of the HS440, it looks like a small version of the HS720E. But there is a whole load of difference between the two drones, from the camera quality to the size. The HS440 is in the mini drone class.

This is a good drone for beginners. It also packs more features than most of the mini drones in its price range. For instance, it comes with an SD card slot, so you don’t need to store your footage in your smartphone.

Also, there are not many downsides to note with this aircraft. However, you should be aware that when you launch it with the one key take off and landing function, it might drift a little when it hovers at 5 feet. This is understandable for a drone of this size and weight.

SJRC F7 4K PRO

SJRC F7 4K PRO Drone Review

The high landing gear and the suspended camera make the SJRC F7 PRO 4K drone look unique. Also,a carry bag is part of the package, so your storage and travel needs are well taken care of.

You can order the package with one, two or three batteries. Of course, there will be price differences, but for more fun and longer flight time, the two or three-battery option is always better.

You will also enjoy an immersive flight experience with the F7 4K PRO thanks to functions such as follow me, gesture shooting and the one key return. Equipped with GPS, this aircraft is hard to lose.

The one downside that you might want to be aware of is that the quadcopter does not have propeller guards. Thus, if there is a crash, you are likely to lose the propeller blades. Since it is marketed as a beginner and intermediate drone, it should come with propeller guards.

We shall look at these flight functions in deeper detail later.
