DJI Mini SE

DJI Mini SE Review

Having come to the US market in August 2021, the DJI Mini SE is the newest addition to the collection of small hobby drones in the DJI stable.

It is also the cheapest! However, if the hubbub in the market is anything to go by, there is some controversy surrounding the Mini SE.

Some pundits say that you are better off going for the older DJI Mini 2, which was released in November 2020. They argue that the Mini SE is built on the older 2019 technology that the Mavic Mini ran on. The only thing that seems to be an improvement on the Mavic Mini is the slightly higher wind resistance.

Here, we believe that we should judge every quadcopter on its own merits. Read the whole review to see the features and the flight modes. You can then decide whether it is the real deal for you.

Even before we get to the features, we like to highlight some downsides. Honestly, there aren’t that many, except perhaps that the package does not come with propeller guards, so a crash could send you to the stores to buy new blades.

There have been cases of users complaining about the Mini SE not responding to controller commands. The good thing is that if the signal is lost, it automatically initiates the return-to-home routine.

YKRC 47 Drone

YKRC YK47 Drone Review

The YKRC YK47 comes with strong motors and long-lasting batteries. Such a combination is rare to find in this price range.

If you are looking for your beginner drone, you might find the price a bit too high on this one. But no price is too high if the features and in this case, the flight functions, can justify it.

So, is the YK47 quadcopter worth the money that you will pay for it? We can only tell when we look at the features in detail. But to give you a sneak peek, the camera has a 50X zoom! How cool is that!

The flight time from one battery is quite good if it can get to the advertised flight time of 28 minutes. There are many more features.

There are also a couple of downsides, which we like to mention beforehand so that you can decide whether this is the item for you. One downside is that the remote controller does not come with a rechargeable battery.

The price is also a bit too high as compared to most other drones with similar features. For instance, the Ruko F11GIM that we reviewed earlier has almost similar features and its price is about $100 cheaper.

Let’s look at the features and flight functions of the YKRC YK47 drone.

JJRC X19

JJRC X19 Drone Review

Some of the perks that you get with the JJRC X19 drone include 5G WiFi connectivity, dual camera (4K HD), remote controller with small screen panel in the middle and other features. Later on, we shall look at its main features in detail.

The price is not too bad. Besides, you also get to choose the package with one, two or three batteries. For longer flight time and more fun in the air, we recommend that you get the two or three-battery package. It will cost you slightly more, but it will be money well spent.

This drone comes in RTF (ready to fly) packaging. Thus, no assemblage is needed. You can fly it right out of the box, of course, after calibrating it. You can refer to the user manual to see how to calibrate it for flight.

Is there any downside to worry about? Not really. This is a well thought out product. The only catch is that if you don’t like it, you have to send photos and videos first to show that the product is undamaged. You also have to pay for the shipping back as well as the original shipping cost.
